![]() I tried to see if anything is reported in Console, I tried twice: ![]() ![]() This is how the screen now looks like it has colorful line at the top. And how did that happen anyway? The fsck command was supposed to fix things, not screw them up :/ It will take me 20 reboots to find the culprit. How to troubleshoot this without trying to disable each one and then rebooting. I have quite some utility apps installed and one of them is probably misbehaving. Now when I boot into MacOS after some time the screen goes black and there is no way to do anything except put it to sleep. It found some issues and (probably) fixed them. So stay with us, and watch out for new releases.I was fixing my Mac partition by rebooting and holding CMD+S and then typing fsck -fy We also hope to make some improvements in the installation and update processes. ![]() More are coming, and we intend to support macOS 10.13 when it is released. 2017Īlthough we didn’t make as much progress as we’d hoped in 2016, there is a 2.5 release of TotalSpaces2 in the works that has a bunch of new features, and TotalFinder 1.8.2 has just been released with some fixes and improvements. With TotalFinder providing desirable features to Finder such as chrome style tabs, colored labels, folders on top, dual mode, cut & paste of files, and Visor functionality, there are still many good reasons to use it.Īnd we think that TotalSpaces2 allows great control of your spaces experience, including custom transitions and timing, user-configurable gestures, hotkeys, and hotcorners, app assignments and multi monitor support. So, as long as it is possible and makes sense to do so, we intend to support these apps. It’s true that we don’t have as many users as earlier, but there are plenty of people who love what we do. Thanks to Steve for his efforts! The futureĪlthough Apple implemented System Integrity Protection making it difficult to install apps like TotalFinder and TotalSpaces, we have found that there is still a market for tools that improve the workflow and usability of your system. Alas Steve has now moved on to other projects, so Antonin and Stephen are returning to lead TotalFinder and TotalSpaces2 respectively. In 2016 Steve joined the efforts on TotalFinder and TotalSpaces.
